WHO WE ARE

ARCH. JOANA ANDRADE

Born in Lisbon in 1983, she graduated in Architecture in 2006, from the Technical University of Lisbon and has a PhD in Information Sciences and Technologies, linked to Architecture, from ISCTE-IUL.

He is a member of the Order of Architects, in Portugal, and the Architects Registration Board, in the United Kingdom.

With a career that varies between the areas of Architecture, Design, Training and Research, he has been practicing architecture since 2007, individually and in collaboration with architectural offices in Portugal, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia and the USA - New York and San Francisco . These collaborations helped give me a broader view of construction processes and design options, mainly for residential and commercial spaces.

With more than 10 years of experience in project coordination and 7 years of experience in remote coordination of a team of more than 50 Architects and Engineers spread across the world, he founded AJA in 2016.

Vision

AJA develops BIM (Building Information Modelling) projects, working with partners in the areas of Engineering and Construction who believe, like us, that technology is a valuable ally for the development of works with minimal errors and omissions.

We work with teams of designers spread across the world, sharing diverse experiences and skills.

As experts and advocates of measures for sustainable projects, we also collaborate with brands and suppliers that present the best solutions in this area.

We believe that in the AEC area (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) everyone plays an essential role, AJA intends to offer the Client the best of the 3 areas, coordinating them for a final result of excellence.

HUGO NASCIMENTO

Born in Lisbon in 1981, he had a varied path, going through military life, Management Information Technology and, finally, the area of Design and Project Management.

Develops projects in BIM, collaborating in the creation of technical drawings, presentation drawings and photorealistic images.

It is also responsible for coordinating the multidisciplinary teams involved in municipal and construction processes, carrying out Project Management throughout the entire life cycle of an AJA Project.
